Because families need to eat in the summer too, LSC-Kingwood's ECO Club is initiating a summer food drive on campus. The drive starts July 6th and runs through until July 29th. Don't be alarmed-there will be a convoy of emergency vehicles on campus this week for the Texas Department of Emergecy Management's Rapid Response Task Force's emergency drill. Lone Star College System is investing in its students through funds received from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant. The system will use its $328,036 to provide training and other preparations to students in workforce programs.
