• ALL hosts open house for current, potential members - July 22, 2010
  Lone Star College-Kingwood's Academy for Lifelong Learning's (ALL) fall Open House will be held Wednesday, Aug. 25 from 2-4 p.m. It will be held at the college's offsite center at the East Montgomery County Improvement District Complex located at 21575 Highway 59 North in New Caney.
• Associate degrees from LSC-Kingwood now transfer to UHD - July 22, 2010
  Current and future students at Lone Star College-Kingwood now have an opportunity to transfer either their associate's degree in Management or in another chosen field to the University of Houston-Downtown to earn their Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree in Applied Administration.
• Trevino says goodbye to SI program - July 22, 2010
  At 15 years-old, Westley Trevino entered Lone Star College-Kingwood's dual credit through New Caney High School to get a jump start on college classes. That experience has led him to successfully grow the college's Supplemental Instructors program.
• LSC-Kingwood highlights educational career paths - July 22, 2010
  A passion for teaching and the ability to make a difference in the lives of young people could lead to a successful and rewarding career in education. Adults who want to pursue a career in teaching have several educational paths available to them at Lone Star College-Kingwood.
• LSC-Kingwood seeks student ambassadors for 2010-2011 year - July 21, 2010
  Students interested in representing Lone Star College-Kingwood around campus and in the community are encouraged to apply for the college's Student Ambassadors program. Student ambassadors represent the college in the community along with representing the college at official functions.
• LSC-Kingwood, community organizations host citizenship forum - July 20, 2010
  LSC-Kingwood in partnership with various Houston area organizations will host its second Citizenship and Immigration Forum on Aug. 14 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the college's gymnasium. To make this year's event a success, the college is asking for community members to volunteer for the event.
• LSC-Kingwood's Art Gallery features students' photography - July 07, 2010
  Students who participated in the study abroad Italy program, will exhibit their photography in the SFA Art Gallery. A reception and artist talk will take place on Monday, July 12 at noon in the SFA Art Gallery. 
• ECO Club holds summer food drive at LSC-Kingwood - June 29, 2010
  Because families need to eat in the summer too, LSC-Kingwood's ECO Club is initiating a summer food drive on campus. The drive starts July 6th and runs through until July 29th. Students, faculty, and staff can place non-perishable food items in designated boxes around campus. 
• Emergency drill will be held on campus this week - June 21, 2010
  Don't be alarmed-there will be a convoy of emergency vehicles on campus this week for the Texas Department of Emergecy Management's Rapid Response Task Force's emergency drill. This exercise will occur in parking lot C, and will have up to 150 participants.
• College students eligible for tuition grant - June 07, 2010
  Lone Star College System is investing in its students through funds received from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant. The system will use its $328,036 to provide training and other preparations to students in workforce programs.
