• Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Shirin Ebadi to speak at LSC-Montgomery - March 08, 2010
  (March 8, 2010) - Shirin Ebadi, recipient of the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize, will engage attendees through a lecture on international human rights on Friday, March 26, from 2:30-4 p.m., in the theatre of Lone Star College-Montgomery (Building D).

  (March 8, 2010) - Lone Star College System officials announced this week that registration for the fall 2010 semester begins on April 1, three weeks sooner than what had been originally scheduled this year.

  HOUSTON (March 2, 2010) - Lone Star College System celebrated the official debut of its new Veterans Affairs Center with a grand opening event on Feb. 16.

  Hundreds of guests were on hand at LSC-University Park as part of the Houston North Economic Symposium on Feb. 11 to hear Texas Gov. Rick Perry discuss the Texas and Houston-area economies.

• LSCS announces partnership with University of Phoenix - February 10, 2010
  Lone Star College System officials have announced that a partnership has been formed with the University of Phoenix to provide additional opportunities for students to earn their advanced degrees.
