New Executive Director for LSC-University Center at Montgomery

Dr. Kurt Czupryn has been selected as the Executive director for Lone Star College-University Center at Montgomery effective May 1, 2010. As Executive Director, Dr. Czupryn will be responsible for the daily operation of programs and activities at the University Center for students, faculty, employees, community and corporate clients, leasing entities, and other visitors. He will work closely with the university partners and oversee student and academic support services for both students and faculty. He will interface with LSCS and represent LSCS and the partner universities in the greater community.

Dr. Czupryn comes to Lone Star College from the University of Houston System, where he was most recently served as Director the UH System at Cinco Ranch/Sugarland. He has a wide range of experience in his thirty years in higher education, including various positions at University of Houston, Texas State University, Lamar University, Pittsburg State University, Nebraska Wesleyan University and University of Nebraska. Dr. Czupryn has not only been an administrator but also a faculty member.

Dr. Czupryn earned his Doctorate from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, Master from the University of Arizona and Bachelors from Indiana University. In addition to his accomplished administrative, teaching and research experience he is an accomplished presenter and author.
