If you were active duty military personnel, a reservist, or a dependent of a veteran who is 100 percent disabled or deceased due to a service-related injury, you may qualify for educational benefits through the Veterans Administration.

Do you need extra money for school supplies or just to help make ends meet? The System Veteran Affairs office is looking for a work-study student. You may apply by downloading an application (22-8691) from http://www.vba.va.gov/pubs/forms/22-8691.pdf or pick up an application at the System Veteran Affairs office at LSC-University Park. Once you have completed the application please take it along with a resume to the System Veteran Affairs office.
To qualify you must be a student pursuing a program of education at the three-fourths time or higher rate, and maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher. You will be paid through the VA at the current minimum wage rate.
