Veteran Affairs Center Services

The Lone Star College System Veterans Affairs Center provides services to all veteran students and their family members from our five colleges including LSC-CyFair, LSC-Kingwood, LSC-Montgomery, LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball, five centers, LSC-University Park, LSC-University Center at Montgomery, LSC-University Center at University Park, Lone Star Corporate College, and LSC-Online.

Families of Veterans: spouses, Children and other Dependents
In these new times with the many changes in policies that have surfaced recently, veterans are experiencing issues that are affecting the family nucleus. The LSCS Veterans Affairs Center will accommodate the special needs of veterans and their family members. Veterans and family members need counseling and support groups designed to address the complete family. The LSCS Veterans Affairs Center will strive to provide services to assists the family as a whole in the following areas:

Veterans
We aim to create an environment where veterans help veterans to achieve success, so we offer these services and meeting groups. In combat a Soldier never leaves a comrade behind, so must student veterans work together not to leave a fellow veteran student behind.

Veterans-helping-Veterans
Veteran students have access to counselors who will have regular office hours once a week at the center.
Women veterans student group - every Tuesday from 1:00-3:00pm
Veterans student group
Provide assistance and awareness related to policies, legislation, programs, issues, and initiatives affecting veterans
Veterans Orientations - these orientations will inform both students and faculty of veteran's rights, obligations, outreach services and programs.
Multi-purpose conference room for student veteran association meetings, veteran gathering location and many other activities.
