Responding to the challenges of an ever-changing workforce, Lone Star College System has Workforce Development programs to meet the needs of individuals and businesses. Whether it is training or retraining, customized or traditional programming, we can help companies and their employees meet short- and long-term goals.

• Training is designed to fit the individual at any point in his or her career. Our programs present concentrated specialized study that develops, complements or expands existing knowledge and skills, while focusing on career requirements and goals.
  
• Educating and training individuals entering the workforce as well as seasoned workers interested in upgrading their skills is the focus of credit and continuing education programming.
  
• Existing coursework and customized training assist businesses of any size enhance productivity. Customized solutions enable companies to gain/maintain a competitive edge. Through analyzing your company's business needs, workforce development professionals can develop an effective program that's sure to meet the needs of the workforce today and tomorrow.  We offer competitive coursework in the following workforce areas:

• Consulting and seminars for entrepreneurs through our Small Business Development Center and specialized continuing education workforce courses can help you with new business development and marketing and finance planning.
  

For GED and ESOL classes, view our Adult Education programs at our campuses.  Youth classes and programs are available, offerings vary by campus.
